Enterprise Foods required a new coder to be integrated into its Multivac packaging machine, with the intention of streamlining its production process through increasing the print capacity.
Pyrotec PackMark offered its Markem-Imaje SmartDate 5 Thermal Transfer Coder as the solution. The coder, which is used to print the necessary date and batch codes, is capable of printing speeds of up to 700mm per second.
The incorporation of the SmartDate Thermal Transfer Coder into the production line enabled the client to accelerate the print process, allowing the line to run optimally. Enterprise Foods is so pleased with the thermal transfer coder that it is already planning to order several more!
