Pyrotec is headed up by Managing Director, Rowan Beattie, and has two brands under its ambit: Pyrotec PackMark, which includes Pyrotec Finance and Pyrotec PackLink; and Pyrotec PackMedia, including Pyrotec PackVerifi.
Our extensive service offering comprises a comprehensive range of coding and labelling equipment, on-pack informational and promotional devices, merchandising solutions, and services that can detect and combat counterfeit activities.

With the company’s brands continuing to grow and evolve with the markets in which we operate, Rowan focuses on his leadership role and supporting his highly-experienced managers. With his team efficiently running Pyrotec’s day-to-day operations, Rowan immerses himself in the company’s Skills Development Fund that sponsors some 200 individuals (apprentices, interns and students studying degrees and diplomas) to continue their education and skills development. The majority are not employed at Pyrotec but our reward is seeing so many young people growing their knowledge and experience and moving up the business ladder. We believe that education is vital to placing Africa on a path of sustainable growth and development because it’s education that is central to accelerating empowerment, eradicating poverty and ensuring Africa’s full integration into the global economy.
