Pyrotec PackMark offered the customer a Markem-Imaje SmartDate X40 Thermal Transfer Coder to print onto the flow wrappers of the individual biscuit packs, and the Crayon Plus was used for the outer cases at the end of their line. Unibisco preferred to use ink printers as it did not want to interrupt the production line for ribbon changes on the thermal transfer printers.
The customer was extremely pleased with the machinery supplied by Pyrotec PackMark. It was able to streamline its production process as a result of an uninterrupted production run, which resulted in both time and labour savings.
