Providing Vital Information With Fix-a-Form® For Vital Health Foods

In 2019, leading health food brand Vital Health Foods needed an innovative packaging solution for their Vitamin E product. Committed to delivering transparency and vital information to their customers, they required extensive product details on their 400 IU Vitamin E capsule packaging. To achieve this, they opted for the Fix-a-Form® leaflet label, ensuring that necessary information was presented in a compact, functional, and cost-effective format.

Challenge
Vital Health Foods faced the challenge of including a large amount of information—spanning 28 pages and written in both English and Afrikaans—on a container with limited application space. The text needed to be legible and easy to access for consumers. Additionally, the label had to be resealable, allowing customers to repeatedly reference the information without damaging the packaging. It was also important to keep production and printing costs low, making it crucial to find a cost-effective yet high-quality solution.

Solution
The Fix-a-Form® leaflet label provided the ideal solution. Designed to fit neatly onto the narrow rear area of the Vitamin E container, the label featured a 28-page parallel-folded leaflet, secured with a 19 mm wrap-under tab. This wrap-under tab allowed for maximum use of the available space, ensuring that all the required information could be included. To further reduce costs, the leaflet was affixed to an unprinted base label, avoiding additional expenses from plate printing. The semi-gloss 90 gsm art paper provided a durable and readable leaflet, and the label was resealable, ensuring customers could open and close it as often as needed to access product information.

Result
Vital Health Foods successfully distributed 8,500 units of their Vitamin E capsules, with the Fix-a-Form® labels providing clear, easy-to-read information in both English and Afrikaans. The resealable feature allowed consumers to conveniently refer back to the information, enhancing their experience with the product.
