How determination and innovation meet track & trace Premium Label Solutions requirements
Pyrotec PackMedia, January 2020: With the introduction of new track & trace Premium Label Solutions requirements, Piramal Healthcare in the UK needed to overprint a 2D matrix code onto a Kleer-Format style informational leaflet label for Halothane-Vet, a volatile anaesthetic for domestic animals.
For this purpose, specially coated laminates are available from Fix-a-Form® International, locally represented by Pyrotec PackMedia. However, because these laminates tend to be expensive, a laminate-free area was created on the extended base-label section instead. This left the paper base label exposed so that it could be over-coded.
